Rivulet Vases
I’ve always been captivated by the tiny deltas and rivulets that waves form in the sand as they recede. Even as a kid playing on the beach I could stare at the patterns for ages, watching them shift and change color as the different layers of sand, rocks, and seaweed were pulled back into the ocean. These vases are meant to call back to those patterns, and capture their flow and movement.
These pieces feature several different glazes - creamy beige, a wonderfully variable green that also sometimes goes grey-blue, a rich copper, and dark flux to encourage organic flow.
